Thank you for your interest to serve on the 2025 History and Social Science Resource Review Committee. If you are new to SMApply, you will be asked to create an account. Once your account is created, this multistep application should take no more than an hour to complete. Contact information for your school, division, immediate supervisor, and division history and social science contact (or designee) will be required.    

Below are some important dates for you to consider before completing the application.  

Committee members will be required to: 

• take part in or review a recording of a virtual training session on the History and Social Science Resource Review process on Thursday, October 2, 2025. 
• complete independent review of materials related to the K-12 History and Social Science Resource Review process between October 3, 2025-November 20, 2025.  
• attend two virtual touch base meetings during October 2025.

Applications must be complete and submitted by Friday, September 12, 2025, 11:59 p.m. EST for consideration.
